Jalapeño Honey is a contra dance and world music band from College Station, Texas

Jalapeño Honey has provided music for the monthly Bryan-College Station community contra dance and other events and gatherings since Fall, 2005. Contra Dance—traditional New England community dancing—is danced to reels and jigs from Scots-Irish, New England, Canadian, and American traditional music. The band also performs traditional squares, waltzes, polkas, klezmer and choro played on accordion, harp, guitar, flute, fiddle, mandolin, and clarinet. In addition to performing for contra dances in Central and South Texas, Jalapeño Honey is also available for festivals, parties, and weddings, including solo or duo performances.
